College of Arts & Sciences
The College of Arts and Sciences encompasses the Divisions of Humanities, Sciences and Mathematics, Social Sciences, Naval Science, and the Schools of Education and Nursing.

Majors are offered in biology, chemistry, communication, computer information systems, elementary education, English, environmental science, exceptional student education, French, geography, history, humanities, international studies, marine science, mathematics, nursing, philosophy, physical education, physics, political science, psychology, sociology, and Spanish. Preprofessional programs are available to students interested in law, medicine, pharmacy, dental medicine and veterinary medicine. Dual degree programs are available in engineering.
